Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Account details — name, email address, mobile number (with country code), and a password you choose. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not stored by us in plain text.
• Delivery / contact addresses — if you save shipping or project addresses in your account.
• Enquiries and quotes — name, email, phone (optional), interest, message, and any products or fabric swatches you shortlist (including colour, code, range and finish where provided).
• Saved preferences — items you like, quote-cart selections stored in your browser, and currency preference (AED / USD).
• Technical data — IP address, device/browser type, and basic request logs needed to run the site securely (including rate-limiting of forms).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our services are intended for adults arranging furniture, fabrics and interior projects.

Your browser may also store a quote cart and similar preferences in local storage so selections persist between visits. These are needed for the site to work as expected. Disabling cookies may prevent sign-in and some features from working.

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf to operate the website:

• Hosting and media storage (for example Vercel and related cloud storage)
• Authentication (Supabase Auth)
• Email delivery for enquiries and account messages (for example Resend)
• Our internal commerce / admin systems used by the Ubuntu Interiors studio team

Providers are only given what they need to perform their service. We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation or a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Ubuntu Interiors, our customers or others.

We are based in the UAE. Some infrastructure providers may process data in other countries. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We keep account and enquiry records for as long as needed to provide our services, handle quotes and projects, meet legal or accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. You may ask us to delete your account data; we will do so where we are not required to retain it.

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), secured session cookies, and access controls for admin tools. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You may also update many details in your account, or clear your quote cart in the browser. To make a request, email jambo@ubuntuinterior.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Our site may link to WhatsApp, social media or maps. Those services have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
